TEAM JETT IN 2024

Team Jett is Jett Foundation’s premier athletic and endurance team fundraising program. Jett Foundation is a Plymouth-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering people and families impacted by Duchenne muscular dystrophy through the development of transformative programming, educational opportunities, and ongoing support for every stage of a Duchenne journey. 

Duchenne muscular dystrophy is the most common fatal pediatric disorder. Caused by a mutation in the gene that encodes for dystrophin, Duchenne is a progressive neuromuscular disorder that causes a loss of motor, pulmonary, and cardiac function, and ultimately, premature death. There are approximately 15,000 patients diagnosed with Duchenne alive today in the United States. Duchenne has no cure.

Team Jett athletes raise critical funds toward Jett Foundation’s efforts to support families through advocacy, empowerment, and direct service programming. Jett Foundation hosts summer camps for individuals with Duchenne and other neuromuscular disorders, online and in-person educational opportunities, family support groups, helps families secure accessible vehicles, provides financial assistance in emergencies, and much more.
