RACE DAY PARKING

RACE DAY PARKING PLAN FOR ATHLETES ONLY (or athletes traveling with family)

NO PARKING IS ALLOWED AT SANDY BEACH. ALL RACERS MUST PARK AT THE MUSIC CIRCUS PARKING LOT. The roads leading to Sandy Beach will be closed, and no bike drop-offs are allowed at Sandy Beach. Park your car at the Music Circus first, throw on a backpack with your gear, and bike 1.5 miles to Sandy Beach. This will be strictly enforced by the Cohasset Police. Cars parked in or around the race venue will be towed.

The parking lot will open at 5:30 AM. If you are traveling with someone who does not have a bike, they can take one of the shuttle buses or walk the 1.5 miles to Sandy Beach. For racers who need to pick up their race packet on race day, it is strongly encouraged to arrive at the Music Circus parking lot by 6:15 AM.  Again, we strongly recommend using the Friday or Saturday packet pickup options for a stress-free arrival on race morning.

PARKING PLAN FOR SPECTATORS AND VOLUNTEERS

Parking is available at the Music Circus. Overflow parking is available at the nearby Deer Hill School. Shuttle buses will provide transportation to the beach. The last shuttle bus to Sandy Beach from the parking lots will leave at 7:30 AM. Buses will be available to take spectators from Sandy Beach back to the parking lots starting at approximately 10:45 AM.

The Music Circus address is 130 Sohier Street, Cohasset, MA.

NOTE: The Music Circus lot closes at 1:00 PM. This will give you plenty of time to retrieve your car following the race. Any cars left in the lot will be towed!
